Short Story About Dr. Neetu Jain

An intellectual, a scholar, an individual who is compassionate and committed, is what Dr.Neetu Jain is all about. She is a self-made, and an esteemed academic who has put in her passion and knowledge into this profession. The excellence and the thoroughness, that she has for her work is unparalleled. It wasn’t her childhood dream to be a doctor but she fell in love with this profession and caring for people as she learnt more about it during her formative years.

Dr.Jain has many professional qualifications, a graduation degree MBBS from Government Medical college, Nagpur, a post-graduation in Internal Medicine from Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, New Delhi where she is still remembered fondly for her hard-work, knowledge, compassion and mentor-ship. She has European Diploma in respiratory Medicine (EDRM). She is a Fellow of Americal College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). She is also a fellow of Indian society of critical care medicine.

She is dedicated to the field of medicine and helping for betterment of people. That’s why she joined as Senior resident at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and subsequently worked there for 7 years. She has not only worked for patient care but was dedicated academician with more than 30 publications in her name in national and international journals.

Dr Neetu was offered as faculty position in Department of Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at PGIMS, Rohtak. Here she was in charge of biggest ICU of Haryana in government sector. She was teacher for super speciality course (DM) in same branch. She also believes in learning constantly with time, because knowledge is the most efficient tool for success as she so puts it. Her hard work and research-oriented persona always motivate others to strive harder. She specialized in care of silicosis patients at PGIMS, Rohtak. She was part of Silicosis Board as specialist. She also carries out various guest lectures on medical branches and shares her valuable knowledge that she has either learned or experienced. Currently, she is working as Senior Consultant in Department of Pulmonary, Critical care and Sleep Medicine for last 3 year. She is an accomplished pulmonary physician, bronchoscopist and intensivist.
